My birthday in New York

Hi girls! Who follows me on Instagram (inesjunqueira) knows that my birthday was yesterday. I will not tell you how old I am – I’ll give you a tip: NEVER ask a woman how old she is: it is not elegant. lol!

I’m spending some days here in NY with my husbando to enjoy the city and to do some shopping.

All day I spend beside my husband is a special day and yesterday on my birthday could not be otherwise: it was AMAZING!

We had lunch at an Italian restaurant that I love, Vapiano. I am going to do a post about it later here on the blog.

In the afternoon we walk through beautiful places, we went to Central Park and Soho, a delicious afternoon with my love.

In the evening he gave me many gifts, and I must say that my husband knows me like no other: he gave me the most amazing gifts that a woman could want, if you follow me on Instagram (inesjunqueira) you know what I’m talking about.

At night he took me to dinner at a Thai restaurant, the Spice.

I love Thai food! Of course to drink it could not miss the Cosmopolitan, my favorite cocktail. Oh, for those who do not know, this cocktail was created here in NY. If you want to know how to do one click HERE.

The delicious dishes we chose were:

Shrimp and crab dumplings in a delicious sauce.

Breaded calamari with spicy sauce

Red Curry Chicken

Rice with shrimp, cashew nuts, eggs and pineapple – a unique flavor.

My look was monochromatic with a red purse giving a super cool highlight, and, of course, the peplum gave an air of modernity.

Well this was my birthday in NY, congratulations to me and kisses for you.

Hello dear readers, I arrived in Estonia, more exactly in its capital, Tallinn.

I’m in love with this beautiful city: cozy, medieval and full of nice people. Soon I will share with you some tips on touring this wonderful city.

When I left the hotel I was wearing this pink scarf, but after a few steps the cold was gone.

I am completely in love this ~~crochet~~ macramé sweater, I think it is very charming, here I wore it over black trousers and a black shirt, but wear it with dress underneath is super charming too.

Girls, have a look at this maxi ring of wings, it seems a quad ring, right? But in fact it is double ring!

The neon Ray Ban sunglasses gave a special touch to the look.

The TOTE BAG is beautiful, despite having several handbags, lately this has been my preferred. #loveit

TIP: Tie a scarf in the bag and gave it even more charm. It is a special touch to the look.

I always like to have full comfort on my feet, especially when I am traveling and walking all day long.

With this look I felt free and comfortable, just perfect for walking all day.

Hello girls and boys! Yes, the boys also read the blog, and I love it! They even send me questions – the last ones that I have received were suggestions on gifts for Valentine’s Day, I gave several hints, according to what each one wrote about their beloved in the sent e-mail.

As you noticed by the post title, I’m not in Moscow any more, but I’m still in Russia, in the beautiful St. Petersburg.

My look of the day presents a very strong trend for the summer, the fluorine or neon colors, and I would like to let you know that it is possible to wear more than one item of those colors at the same time, it is just a matter of know how to combine them in order to prevent exaggeration.

Well, I chose a neon yellow blouse with a transparency at the sides and a back + a pink neon purse + a neon bracelet and a necklace with a touch of neon as well.

It is a lot of neon colors, but everything is well arranged to avoid a heavy look.

As you can see, I’m using my PHALANX RING, and the nail of the finger is different from the others. This it is very fashionable here in Europe, I loved it, it is very easy to do and any one can use. # DemocraticTrend

The SNEAKERS, despite the internal high-heels, are extremely comfortable and stylish, I’m in love with them.

Yay! Let’s talk about handbags today, I think that this is a pleasant subject, right?

Tote bag is nothing more than a big handbag, it can be horizontal or vertical, its handles are short and usually this kind of bag is totally charming.

It is a very informal maxi bag and the main advantage, besides the style, is its size: you can carry with you everything you need!

As everyone knows, the bag is an indispensable item in the life of any woman, whether by necessity or vanity.

Necessity, as we carry a thousand things in it: can you imagine having to carry everything you need in your hands? Impossible, right?!

And also vanity, because despite of having already several handbags, we always want another one.

In my case I am dreaming of this beautiful bag full of skulls (I love skulls) from Alexander Mcqueen.

The correct way to wear the tote bag is not on the shoulders, but on the hands.

Look at this tote bag that Olivia Palermo is wearing: it is basic, but stylish and goes with everything! She is from Zara and the price is pretty affordable, but unfortunately it did not arrived to Brazil yet.

TIP: You can use a tote bag to bring your books to school or college, and also to bring notebook or tablet.

TIP 2: If you want to give even more charm for your tote bag tie a stylish handkerchief on it, it will look especially beautiful.

Hello everybody, this look is actually from last week when I went to Bahia. I spent there a few days in Arraial d’Ajuda and Trancoso, beautiful places, I would definitely recommend.

I went with hubby in order to rest, after all it is quiet place, full of wonderful beaches, but for our surprise we found out that there was a huge college event, the city was crowded, party everywhere, the solution was enjoy the event as well. Why would we rest? When I die I will do it a lot! Just joking!

I love traveling, but wait in an airport is totally boring, therefore is essential always have on hand a magazine or a good book.

My choice this time was the ELLE magazine, I am crazy about this magazine!

But changing the subject, let’s look at my accessories?

Girls, I’m in love with skulls! You have already realized it, didn’t you? I got so freaked out when I saw this belt, it was love at first sight, it is stylish, isn’t it girls?

Mix of bracelets for my travel.

Comfort is necessary and in my case style too, then join both is perfect!

The loafers promote this union between comfort and style! I love them!

This is a necklace with the name of my husband, and he wears one with my name too! That is cute, right girls?!

And finally, the inseparable companion of women: the handbag! This is one great, because it is quite spacious, it is enough to carry all I need.

The trip was wonderful, now I’m looking forward to my pre-vacation in Rio, I grab every possibilities to visit this city! I deeply love that place, but that’s a topic for another post, right girls? Kisses!
